A bit about me...
My name is Callum Schofield, host of The Schofield Stories Podcast. Between us, this came as a shock to me to. I never expected to host a podcast and rarely listened to podcasts in the past. But since becoming more involved in the podcasting world, I love it.
If you listen to my podcast, (specifically the earlier episodes) you may notice I block on the occasional word. This is because I have a stutter. For 18 years, I couldn't say my name, my address, order my own food; and now I host a podcast... I do think to myself 'how the hell did this happen' quite a lot.
Even though I have a stutter, this is not a stuttering podcast and I am not a stuttering host. Many of my guests stutter, but that still does not make this a stuttering podcast. The Schofield Stories is an interview-style podcast with incredible guests.
My motivation to start a podcast came from looking to challenge myself, I always like to do something new, something I would never have done and that will be a big step out of my comfort zone. I like talking, I like asking questions, I like meeting new people... This was surely a no brainer.
I've really fallen in love with podcasting, recording and interviewing is one of the best things I've ever done. That's the main reason I do what I do, because I enjoy it. Simple as that.
